What kind of bras Ann Summers makes
The range is built around occasion and fashion lingerie: plunge and balcony shapes, push-up padding, lace and matching sets. Everyday basics and sports bras are a small part of it. That affects fit in predictable ways.
How the styles tend to fit
Push-up and heavily padded bras
The pad sits inside the cup and takes up space. Many people need one cup size up from their usual size. If the top edge cuts in, go up a cup.
Plunge bras
A low centre and angled cups. They suit close-set breasts and lower necklines. If you are full on top or have soft tissue, lean forward when trying one on to check you stay in at the centre.
Balcony bras
More open across the top, with wide-set straps. Often the most comfortable cut in a fashion range for fuller cups.
Unlined lace bras
Lighter support, intended more for look than for all-day wear at larger cup sizes.

Which size to try first
- Start from your measured UK size, not from the size of a bra that does not fit well. Use the calculator.
- In padded and push-up styles, take one cup up as well.
- Keep the band the same. If you change the band, move the cup letter the other way. See the sister size chart.
- Check the brand's own size guide. If it tells you to add inches to your underbust measurement to find your band, use your real underbust figure instead. The reason is in why the +4 method is wrong.
Checking the fit
Fashion bras should still pass the basic checks.
- The band is level and firm on the loosest hook.
- After a scoop and swoop, nothing bulges over the cup edge.
- The centre panel sits against your breastbone.
- The wires rest on ribcage, not on breast tissue.
The full list is in how a bra should fit.
If your size is not available
Fashion retailers generally carry fewer of the smallest bands and largest cups. If the size filter shows little in yours, UK full-bust brands make fashion and occasion lingerie in D to K cups, and some have dedicated fashion lines. See our guides to Curvy Kate and Boux Avenue.
Frequently asked questions
What bra sizes does Ann Summers sell?
Ann Summers offers a broad span of band and cup sizes across its range, with extended cups in selected styles. The exact range differs by style and changes over time, so use the size filter on its website.
Do Ann Summers bras run small?
Reports vary by style. Much of the range is padded, plunge or push-up, and those constructions often feel smaller in the cup than an unpadded bra in the same size. Trying one cup up is a sensible precaution.
