A bra size chart lines up band measurement, bust measurement, and cup letter side by side, so you can match your two numbers to a size without doing any maths yourself. UK sizes run from 28AA to 44G and beyond, in both inches and centimetres.

How to Use This Chart
- Measure your band (underbust) and bust without a padded bra.
- Find your band number in the left column of the table above.
- Subtract band from bust, then match the difference to the cup letter in the same row.

Cup Size Chart
If you only need the cup letter and already know your band, use the difference column directly: 1" is an A, 2" is a B, and so on up through DD, E, F and G. For a deeper explanation of why cup size is always relative to band, see our cup size guide.
Converting This Chart to Other Countries
Buying from a non-UK brand? Band numbers usually stay similar, but cup letters shift — see our full UK vs US vs EU bra sizes guide for band and cup conversion tables covering the US, EU, France and Australia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do UK and US bra size charts show different cup letters?
Band numbers match between the UK and US, but cup naming diverges from D upward — a UK DD is a US E, and a UK E is a US F. Below D, most charts use identical letters in both systems.
Can I use this chart if I measured in centimetres?
Yes — the table below lists both inches and centimetres side by side for every band size, so you can read your row directly without converting anything yourself.
What if my measurements fall between two rows on the chart?
Round your band to the nearest even number and your cup difference to the nearest whole inch. If you're still between two results, try the closest sister size first.
Do all brands follow this same chart?
The chart reflects standard UK sizing conventions, but individual brands cut differently, so the same labelled size can fit slightly differently between stores. Use the chart as your starting point, then adjust by brand.
Why does my band number keep changing between charts?
Some older charts add 4–5 inches to the underbust measurement instead of using it directly — that's an outdated method most UK retailers have moved away from. This chart uses the direct underbust reading, which tends to be more accurate.
